MAY 2012 REGISTRATION BEGINS FOR THIS SUMMER'S BIBLE CAMP
Summer Bible Camp 2012 starts July 10, 2012 and ends August 16, 2012. We plan to provide plenty of prayer, peace, games, crafts, food & fun, and we had a great time!
Schedule runs as such:
Tuesdays 9 am to 12 noon. Snacks & Drinks provided. Thursdays 9 am to 12 noon. Snacks & Drinks provided.
For those of you who didn't know this, St. Philip's Religious Education is gearing up to hold the SEVENTH Annual Bible Camp for the Summer of 2012. After all, why stop learning about your faith just because it's summertime?
The children, volunteers, and workers meet twice a week all-summer long for story time, arts & crafts, video-taped spiritual programs, plus fun, games, and excitement. All this, while learning about our religious faith in a relaxed atmosphere. The homework assigned; a task to do unto others, and thoughts to ponder after each session.
Interested??? If you are a registered parishioner as of January 1st, and your children are between 4 through 10 years of age (although older siblings may join if they wish), then please look for future updates about this enriching program for this year. Get ready to sign up your children for the Seventh Annual Bible Camp for the Summer of 2012.
Students from Grades Pre-K4 to 4th Grade for the School year 2012-2013 are invited to participate (although older siblings may join if they wish because we encourage them to join in the fun too!!!).
This is a great opportunity for Confirmation Candidates to earn Stewardship Hours over the summer. We rely on the adults and youth volunteers for the majority of the Bible Camp program.
Musical Talents are needed. So are the talents of animated Storytellers, directing Recreational Sports, Arts & Crafts know-how, and plenty of patience with the little ones.
The Registration fee is $20 to sign up your child. No other fee is involved. Click the "register now" button <<< to download a registration form [available summer 2012]. Additional registration forms will be made available on the school's bulletin board in the main hallway or at the school office in May.
This faith program usually runs on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am until 12 noon. Snacks and drinks are provided during the sessions. Your child can come to either day or both, space permitting. Come one time or every time! All for just one low registration fee of $20 per child for the entire summer. How can you beat that?
The summer schedules dates & camp booklets for the summer of 2012 will be distributed during the second week of July.
Any donations of school & art supplies, plastic storage bins, healthy snacks & drinks, or religious children books, games, & video tapes are greatly appreciated.
Consider submitting Craft ideas for 2012. If you have an idea you'd like to share, please email a list of supplies needed to complete the craft, a description of the craft, and instructions to complete the craft. Parents are always welcome to stay during this program and enjoy the fun as well!
