Summer Bible Camp 2007 ended August 30, 2007 with plenty of games, crafts, food & fun! Thank you dear parents, children and volunteers for a meaningful summer for all.
All donated snacks and drinks were quite satisfying and plentiful.
For those of you who didn't know, St. Philip's Religious Education ran a Bible Camp for the Summer of 2007. After all, why stop learning about your faith just because it's summertime?
The children, volunteers and workers met twice a week all-summer long for story time, arts & crafts, video-taped spiritual programs, and fun & games. All this, while learning about our religious faith in a relaxed atmosphere. The homework assigned; a task to do unto others, and thoughts to ponder after each session.
Interested??? If your children are between 4 through 10 years of age, then please look for future updates about this enriching program. Then get ready to sign up your children for the Third Annual Summer Bible Camp 2008.
Students from Grades from Pre-K4 to 4th Grade for the School year 2008-2009 are invited to participate.
This is a great opportunity for Confirmation Candidates to earn Stewardship Hours over the summer.
Musical Talents are needed. So are the talents of animated storytellers, Arts & Crafts know-how, and plenty of patience with the little ones.
Registration fee is $7 per child, up to a maximum of $21 per family. No other fee is involved. Click here <<< to download a registration form. Additional registration forms will be made available on the school's bulletin board in the main hallway or at the school office.
The program usually runs Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9am - 10:15am and again from 10:30 - 12 noon. Snacks are shared with the children between the two sessions. Your child can come to any or all times. All for just one low fee of $7 per child, per summer.
The summer schedules dates & camp booklets for the summer of 2008 will be distributed during the second week of July.
Any donations of school & art supplies, plastic storage bins, healthy snacks & drinks, or religious children books & video tapes are greatly appreciated.
Consider submitting Craft ideas for 2008. If you have an idea you'd like to share with the children, please email a list of supplies need, a description of the craft, and instructions to complete the craft. Please give us you name so we can thank you and let you know how the crafts made out. To send your idea, email it to reled@stphilipsb.org.
Parents are welcome to stay during this program.
