We will celebrate Catechetical Sunday on Sunday, September 20, 2009, during the 8:30 am mass. The parishioners will join together to acknowledge this year's volunteer catechists.  The school year for 2009-2010 starts on Sunday, September 20, 2009 for first through sixth grades and starts on Monday, September 21, 2009 for seventh & eighth grades. 

Thank you and God Bless all the Catechists, Assistants, Aides, Office Helpers, Volunteers, and Parents for your dedicated and endless love for the children.   Because of your commitment to the children's faith formation, you continue to succeed in strengthening their love of God, family and for their parish community.  Having enjoyed a summer filled with laughter, fun, peace, and serenity, we now ask you to set your frame of mind to living and learning our faith in God.   With God on your side, you can't go wrong!

The catechism program is still in need of catechists.  Would you like to help out while your child is in class?  Please call (201) 843-2240 if you would like to try this enriching opportunity to reach out and nurture the young ones.

There's a great deal of responsibilities to undertake in the office assistant position, yet there's also a great deal of satisfaction knowing the program can run efficiently with your help!  Would you like to join the office assistants with this important task?
