Mandatory Confirmation Retreat           (Possible Dates) 10/03, 10/10, or             11/07/2010: times to be announced

The Approved Date For Confirmation was announced by the Archdiocese of Newark:  Sunday, Confirmation Mass 11/21/2010 at 3 pm; presider Bishop Manuel Cruz.

CONFIRMATION

If you need to volunteer to comply with your stewardship requirements, here are a few suggestions:
-Be a Greeter at the door before and after mass.
-Join an organized group of students to clear the church grounds of trash blown in from the streets.
-Collect food to donate to the Sacred Heart Church Food Pantry or the Saddle Brook Reformed Church Food Pantry.
-Rake leaves for the parish in Autumn.
-Decorate Religious Ed's bulletin boards for holidays and special notices.
-Participate in the Choir.
-Bake for Parish Receptions.
-Help as a Festival Worker.
-Prepare small gift boxes to distribute to the Seniors and Shut-Ins.
-Babysit for 1st Communion Parent during Meetings and Communion rehearsals.
-Help with landscaping and gardening.
-Help serve during receptions sponsored by the Holy Name Society and the Rosary Altar Society.
-Set up the Nativity Creche before Christmas & remove after Christmas.
-Be a Bible Camp Volunteer during the summer.
-Cut & sew cloth patterns to make dolls for hospital distribution; organized by the Kiwanis Club.
-Re-organize hymnals in church after masses. 
-Hospitality Ministry needs help with shut-ins (rake leaves, shovel snow, etc...)
